XM Radio is a satellite radio provider fo your home, office or automobile. To use this service a special tuner is required, some of which are portable. Many late model vehicles are equipped with XM tuner's built in as an added benefit to the driver, but a paid subscription is required for the service to be activated. In February 2007, XM and their main competitor, Sirius, merged to form Sirius XM.
